Tangerine x Just For Laughs

With a focus on growing the Montreal market share, we evolved an out-of-home campaign for Tangerine to engage with a new audience. “Knock knock” jokes had never been so much fun.

As a title sponsor for the annual Montreal comedy festival, Tangerine wanted to follow Just For Laughs’ simple mission to “make people happy” but still talk about their bank services. While everyday banking may not be the funniest content, we developed an out-of-home campaign that helped inform new customers of Tangerine’s services through a variety of “knock knock” jokes around the city.

We then extended the joke to select bank locations and the JFL festival grounds where guests could actually knock on doors for surprises and gifts. Rounding out the experience, we created shareable photo opportunities in exchange for lead gen to create an integrated, cohesive campaign at all touchpoints.
